The “Indiana Jones” star Shia LaBeouf has confessed that he harbours a crush on American newscaster Diane Sawyer.Despite the fact that Sawyer is 40 years older than him, 22-year-old LaBeouf admits that he has always lusted after the “Good Morning America” host, according to contactmusic.com.
When asked by a magazine about his number one woman, he replied: “Diane Sawyer, she just does it for me.”
Unfortunately for the actor, Sawyer is married to Hollywood director Mike Nichols.
For the first time since his rollover accident , Shia was spotted back behind the wheel in Glendale on Saturday afternoon (August 23).
Enjoying time away from the set of the “Transformers” sequel, Shia proudly took his mother and father for a drive in his classic 1975 Checker Marathon car.
According to an eyewitness, “The car has been standing for so long he needed the help of a booster every time he stopped.”
The spectator added: “The windscreen was so dirty he could hardly see through it and ended up taking it for a good clean to the car wash, where his bandaged hand was readily visible.”

It looks like car-crash victim Shia LaBeouf will be transforming back to an actor today.
Sources tell E! News that Shia, who is still recovering from injuries he sustained to his left hand in an auto accident last month, is scheduled to return to the set of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen on Thursday.
No details were given about the particular scenes the 22-year-old will be shooting, but it’s probably safe to say he won’t be doing any of his own stunts just yet.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. –
Shia LaBeouf is doing well following his recent car accident and resulting hand surgery according to Isabel Lucas, his co-star in “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.”
“We’re both fine and Shia’s fine as well,” Lucas told Access Hollywood on the red carpet at Hayden Panettiere’s Whaleman Foundation Benefit at Beso in Hollywood on Sunday. “His hand is healing well.”
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, LaBeouf was involved in a collision with another vehicle in Hollywood on July 27, one that saw his green Ford truck flip. Lucas was the star’s passenger in the incident.
While both actors were transported to a local hospital following the crash, Lucas was released, while LaBeouf was forced to undergo early morning surgery to his left hand.
Last week, Star reported that LaBeouf might have to have his pinky amputated, a story that the star’s rep debunked to Access.
“That story is a complete fabrication. Absolute gossip,” LaBeouf’s rep said.
Actor SHIA LaBEOUF is convinced he’s unlucky with women – because he’s not a typical Hollywood playboy.
The Transformers star, 22, admits he’s become a hit with the ladies since his sudden rise to fame with roles in a series of box office smashes this summer (08) – but insists he has yet to perfect his pick-up lines.
He says, “I’m enjoying myself. But I’m not great with women, dude. I’m not a closer. I can chat all night long, but I’m not the guy who goes, ‘Okay, back to my room.’
“I’ve never been that way. It’s not my presence, I just can’t do it. But it’s not been a priority of mine for a while.”

The Indiana Jones star’s hand was injured when his Ford pickup flipped in a late-night accident last month. “Shia’s left hand was crushed and will need regular medical supervision until his doctors clear him to return to work,” LaBeouf’s attorney, Michael Norris, said at the time.
LaBeouf has been spotted sporting a cast over his damaged wing…pinky and all.
