It looks like Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens weren’t the only celebrities garnering paparazzi attention at LAX yesterday. Shia LaBeouf was spotted making his way through the main terminal, looking a bit annoyed.
The “Transformers” stud was still sporting his left-hand splint along with a plaid button-up shirt, jeans and sneakers while carrying a black leather doctor’s bag.
LaBeouf just wrapped filming on his new movie “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” set for a June 26, 2009 release in theaters nationwide.
And with a cast including Megan Fox, John Turturro, Rainn Wilson, and Josh Duhamel, as well as a larger budget, it sounds like “Revenge of the Fallen” could be the summer blockbuster of the year.

The occupants of the car Shia LaBeouf collided with in July have been charged with giving police false information.
The actor’s truck flipped twice after hitting a car driven by Simon Herbert in West Hollywood.
Herbert has since been blamed for the accident; police claim he ran a red light.
He and passenger Kimberly Bent have been charged with one count each of giving false information to a police officer.
Reports suggest Herbert and Bent misled police about who was behind the wheel at the time of the crash. Bent told the authorities she was driving, but investigators suspect Simon was in control of the car.
Last week, LaBeouf learned he would not be charged for a DUI related to the crash. Officials at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office have refused to follow up on suspicions the “Transformers” star had been drinking before the accident due to insufficient evidence. Investigators had previously determined that LaBeouf was not at fault for the wreck.

Shia LaBeouf has splashed out on a heated toilet seat.
The ‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’ star says he hasn’t had much time to spend the money he has made from acting, but has treated himself to a self-heating toilet seat which he is now “dependent on”.
Shia said: “I bought one of those cool toilet seats with the heater in it. They are amazing. I am dependent on it now.
“My biggest splurge was definitely tickets for baseball games. Without a doubt. The thing is it is everyone else around me who helps to gets to enjoy them because I am never around to get to the games.”
This is not the first time the 22-year-old star has admitted a penchant for bathroom furniture.
Earlier this year, it was reported Shia painted toilet seats in his spare time to help him relax.
It was claimed the star decorates the furnishings with eclectic patterns and sayings, including ‘Pooperazzi’ and ‘High End For Your Rear End’.
Shia reportedly sells the seats at flea markets.
Shia LaBeouf has been too busy to spend his hard-earned fortune.
The Transformers and Indiana Jones star, 22, says he has been so pre-occupied with his career that he has only had the chance to splash out on season tickets for his favorite baseball team and a heated toilet seat.
He reveals, “My biggest splurge was definitely tickets for Dodgers games. Without a doubt. The thing is, it is everyone else around me who gets to enjoy them because I am never around to get to the games.
“I also bought one of those cool toilet seats with the heater in it. They are amazing. I am dependent on it now.”
Shia recently recently revealed that his mom, Shayna, enjoys the regular attention she receives from the paparazzi.
He said, “My mum often gets caught by photographers, but she doesn’t mind.
“She has learned to do this special hair flick as she gets out of the car and pushes her hair from out of her face. She quite likes it all I think.”
Shia LaBeouf’s mom loves getting attention from the paparazzi.
The Transformers star says his mom Shayna is regularly followed by shutterbugs — but she has learned to love it.
Shia reveals, “My mom often gets caught by photographers, but she doesn’t mind. She has learned to do this special hair flick as she gets out of the car and pushes her hair from out of her face. She quite likes it all I think.”
LaBeouf, 22, recently said being famous was like living in a “fishbowl”.
He said, “I kind of live in a fishbowl, but what people don’t realize is that I’m not the only one.
“The irony is they say to me, ‘I don’t know how you can deal with being followed and recorded everywhere you go.’ And while they’re saying that they may be getting recorded.”
Actor Shia LaBeouf was injured Wednesday on the set of the “Transformers” sequel being filmed at Holloman Air Force Base, according to a report by WENN (World Entertainment News Network).
LaBeouf’s eyelid was slashed open during a bomb blast stunt, according to the report.
The report states he LaBeouf spent about four hours at the clinic on base being treated, while the swelling went down, before he returned to the set.
LaBeouf suffered severe hand injuries during a traffic accident this past summer.

“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” is set to come out in summer 2009.
Shia LaBeouf is on the run again. After escaping the bad guys in Indiana Jones 4 this summer, he and co-star Michelle Monaghan are fleeing from something more mysterious in Eagle Eye, the new thriller from Steven Spielberg.
Shia admits the difficulty he faces with the invasion of his own privacy as he’s reached superstardom.
Q: How far fetched is it to think things like computers and cell phones can be used to invade our lives?
A: I tell you what got my attention. There was a CIA guy on the set who played back a cell phone conversation I’d had two years ago. It’s a tangible reality that one in five phone conversations you have is recorded, that your ADT security box in your home can be activated and used against you and OnStar in your car could allow somebody to shut your car down on the freeway. Big Brother is invading our lives because we’ve allowed him to and that’s terrifying.
Q: As a celebrity, you’re already used to giving up your privacy, aren’t you?
A: I kind of live in a fishbowl, but what people don’t realize is that I’m not the only one. The irony is they say to me, ‘I don’t know how you can deal with being followed and recorded everywhere you go.’ And while they’re saying that they may be getting recorded. Steven Spielberg expected people would stay away from the beach after they saw Jaws. Now he’s betting that people will take a second look at their cell phones after they see this movie.
Q: But aren’t we all hooked on the convenience of new technologies?
A: I’m as geeky as most in my generation. I think that you have to learn how to use technology in today’s age. It’s sort of like using your hands. If you want to succeed in any career, you need to know how to use technology. It’s become like a mandatory thing whatever the down side. I guess I’m most attached to my X-Box. I like video games a lot.
Q: There were a lot of scenes in the movie where it didn’t seem like a stunt man was taking the hard knocks for you.
A: I got some cuts that were stitched up and some bruises, but I wasn’t going to call for a stunt guy because Michelle Monaghan was so gung-ho. I mean she was all padded up and ready to go like, ‘Bring it on.’ So I wasn’t going to wimp out. I guess there might have been a little competition between us.
Q: There’s a lot of sexual tension but no big romance between the two of you.
A: I think if we’d had an overtly passionate relationship it would have cheapened the whole film. It would have been one more Hollywood fantasy. Sometimes lovers aren’t allowed to be together. That happens a lot in life, but you rarely see it in a film anymore. Anyway, with all the action there was no time for romance.
Q: You survived a serious car accident and really hurt your hand. What happened?
A: I just remember a car coming at me really fast and then my truck flipped twice. I had my arm out the window which is how my fingers got crushed. It was pretty bad and I’m due back for a second operation but I think I’ll be fine.
Q: What’s the background of your unusual name?
A: In French, LaBeouf means ‘beef,’ but mine is spelled wrong. It should be ‘LaBoeuf.’ My grandmother was a beatnik lesbian in the ’50s, who hated her family and decided to change the spelling, and it’s been that way ever since. So you go to France and people are like, ‘LaBeouf? You have an illiterate last name.’ By the way, Shia is a bad four-letter word in French. So the literal translation of my name is ‘S*** the Beef.’ Kind of rock-starry isn’t it?”
Q: How do you feel about your amazing ride to Hollywood success?
A: I think I’ve just been riding coattails. I mean, come on, Indy Jones was going to be a success whether I was in it or not. You could have put Freddie Prinze Jr. in my part. Put Frankie Muniz in Transformers and it still would have been a hit. So I realize how lucky I’ve been.
Q: Ever thought about taking a break from filming?
A: I thought about going to college after doing Disturbia and majoring in film. Then Steven called and offered me Indy Jones. I thought, ‘Do I want to hear someone lecturing about Steven Spielberg or be on the set watching him work?’
Shia Labeouf has revealed that his mother lives in a Castle made by one of the original wizard of Oz munchkins.
The Transformers star insists that his mum, Shayna, loves life in the odd house, but admits that whenever he pays her a visit their, he always feels like a giant.
“A Wizard of Oz midget built a castle in Tujunga (and) she lives there. It’s the real deal. She lives in a small, little stone house built by a midget. She’s 5” 1,?the Daily Express quoted him, as saying.
“For, like, Thanksgiving I went there; it was very strange – you get a lot of cramping,” he added.
He survived attacks from giant killer robots and high speed car chases in “Transformers,” bug attacks and spear-wielding natives in “Indiana Jones” and a psychotic, murderous neighbor in “Disturbia,” but it took a woman in stilettos to get Shia LaBeouf to beef up his stunts in “Eagle Eye.”
“She’s a powerhouse,” LaBeouf told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush about his co-star, Michelle Monaghan. “She’s a little tank. That girl’s a tank. I’ve never seen any stunt woman do what she does.”
LaBeouf said he got rather competitive on set with the 32-year-old Monaghan.
“Super competitive,” the 22-year-old LaBeouf clarified. “(When) she’s running as fast as you in stilettos, you start questing yourself. You start going to craft services (and then are) like, ‘Nah, I’m going to eat some celery right now.’ She brings it up a level.”
Monaghan’s stamina, endurance and willingness to get bruised up for her art were all exemplified on the first day of filming director D.J. Caruso’s “Eagle Eye,” according to LaBeouf.
“We’re falling on these gravel rocks and we didn’t pad up because we didn’t have enough time to pad up,” LaBeouf explained. “(We) were out in the middle of this field and the pads are way back at base camp. And D.J.’s like, ‘I need you to hit that gravel.’ And she’s like, ‘I’m game. Let’s do it.’ No questions asked. She did it like 30 times, just ripping herself up, just jamming her shoulder into this gravel. And me and D.J. looked at each other like, ‘Yeah, this is bad a–.’”
Though it took a thirty-something woman to get LaBeouf to up his game in the film, one place he is always brave is online. Unlike many of his celebrity peers who steer clear of gossip Web sites and message boards, LaBeouf enjoys reading about himself online.
“I like people’s input,” he said. “If you were to get in a room with, for instance, you’re selling light bulbs, and you get a bunch of people in the room to tell you how to make your light bulb better, why not? If my fans are telling me they want this or they want that, we’re now in an age, where I can go directly to my fans. I don’t have to go through a third party. I can figure out exactly what they want and what they want to see.”
And while he definitely visits online sites, the actor said he usually does it in disguise.
