Author: Megan Fox still has a ride.
The Jennifer’s Body tart — who has complained publicly about working with Transformers director Michael Bay — will be back behind the wheel for Transformers 3.
Bay revealed on his blog that the sequel to 2009’s top-grosser will arrive in theatres on July 1, 2011 starring Fox and Shia LaBeouf.
After explaining he’s still deciding which new characters to include, Bay added, “P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you.”
The announcement comes as somewhat of a surprise since earlier this summer, Bay insisted there would be no way he could churn out another Transformers before 2012. But that was before Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen grossed $400 million in North America alone.
The release pits Transformers 3 against such other high-profile blockbusters as Spider-Man 4, The Hangover 2, Pirates of the Caribbean: Of Stranger Tides, Cars 2, The Green Lantern, First Avenger: Captain America and Kung Fu Panda 2.
Meanwhile, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast 3D has been pushed back a year — from February 2010 to 2011 to coincide with the movie’s 20th anniversary.

Megan Fox has laughed off speculation that she once dated her Transformers co-star Shia LaBeouf.
The actress, who plays car-loving Mikaela Banes in the action franchise, was romantically linked to LaBeouf (Sam Witwicky) earlier this year.
Speaking to People, she said: “I love him to death from head to toe. I find him fascinating and he finds me interesting for some reason. But it’s not a romantic, sexual thing.”
When asked which celebrity, dead or alive, she would want to take on a date, she replied: “It’s kinda lame but I would go with Kurt Cobain. I’ve always really liked him. He hated people, so we’d have to go someplace really private. Like Griffith Park Observatory at night, when no-one else is there.”
Fox is currently dating former Beverly Hills, 90210 star Brian Austin Green.

The 23-year-old Transformers star will play a young Wall Street broker who must alert the financial community to the coming doom, and to find out who was responsible for his mentor’s death.
Earlier this month, Shia sparked rumors of him dating co-star Carey Mulligan after they were spotted on a date together in NYC.
The normally relaxed actor took offense at a photographer that was parked close to the gate of his Hollywood Hills home. A friend arrived to help him work on his motorbike which is laying in pieces in his yard and as the two left to run some errands confronted the photographer. Shia could audibly be heard yelling “this is harassment” and after standing around for a couple of minutes the two got into a large truck and drove off to go and pick up parts for his bike before returning home.

Wednesday July 22, 2009. Actor Shia LaBeouf was spotted walking to a gym for a late morning workout. Shia’s left wrist, hand and fingers were wrapped up in a white bandaged and he also had a knife tucked into his front pocket.
